Dr Elena Vysotskaya

I enjoy general practice in all areas and aspects, but since graduation I always have had a special interest in women’s health. Born and raised in Russia where I worked as a medical doctor, researcher and a teacher in a tertiary medical school. My work includes adolescent menstrual issues, family planning, contraception (all types of IUDs and Implanon insertions/removals), pregnancy support, sexual health and menopause issues among other areas, and always do my best to provide holistic care to women of all ages and stages of life.

Since I started to practice in Australia in 2014, I gradually developed a special interest in skin cancer detection and treatment. I have completed several additional courses, including Diploma in Dermoscopy and Certificate in Primary Care Skin Cancer Therapeutics along with Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine, in addition to being a fellow of RACGP.

My credentials include MD, FRACGP, PhD (Rus), AMC, Dip Dermoscopy, Certificate of Sexual and Reproductive Health, and an upcoming Professional Certificate of Medical Nutrition Management

Outside of work, I love knitting and crocheting and really enjoy spending time by traveling with my husband and two kids.
