Ellen health is a privately billing medical practice. Our doctors and allied health practitioners are independent practitioners who are free to set their own fees.
Our commonly charged fees are:
Standard:
Monday to Friday: 8am to 9pm & Saturday 8:30am to 12 noon.
Fees: Private - $92, Health Care Card - $82, Pensioners & Students - $72
Our Standard consultations are up to 15 minutes duration. Consultations over 20 minutes are billed as a Long Consultation and attract higher fees.
Children 12yrs & under:
Fees: Most of our doctors bulkbill children under 12 years of age for appointments between 9am and 5pm on weekdays (Mon / Tues / Wed / Thurs / Fri).
After hours:
We have extended our opening times outside of usual business hours for your convenience:
Monday - Friday 8pm to 9pm; and urgent on-call service 9pm-11pm
Saturdays 12:00 midday to 4pm
Sundays 12:00 midday to 4pm
Most Public Holidays 12:00 to 4pm
Fees: Our usual after-hours consultations are at full private billing rates, e.g. $103.00 for a standard consultation.
