Dr. Penny O’Sullivan

Dr O’Sullivan Graduated from UWA in 2010 and went onto to complete her Internship and part of her RMO years at SCGH. There she gained experience in areas such as ED, CCU, Hepatology, Geriatrics and community palliative care. She then went on to train at PMH (now PCH), gaining experience in paediatrics and completing a Diploma of Child health.

As a part of General Practice training Penny has worked in a variety of settings including 6 months at Family Planning WA (now SHHQ), where she developed her interest in sexual health, unplanned pregnancy and contraception. Since this time, she has become an experienced IUD inserter.

Penny competed her GP examinations 2015 and enjoys all aspects of General Practice, especially the care of the whole person and the whole family. Recently she lived in Adelaide for 12 months where she worked solely in sexual health, especially dealing with LGBTI+ community ad PrEP prescribing.

Dr. Michelle Musca

Dr Michelle is not currently taking on new patients. Michelle will also be on Maternity Leave from December 2022

Dr Michelle Musca was born and raised in Perth, and completed her medical degree at the University of Western Australia in 2008, graduating with honors.  

She spent several years travelling to rural and remote areas of Australia, working as an Emergency doctor, before settling in Tasmania where she undertook her GP training. She has since returned to her home town of Perth where she lives with her husband and 3 children.

Michelle has a particular interest in treating and preventing disease using a dietary and lifestyle approach. She is also studying towards a Fellowship with the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM), having been awarded a scholarship by ACNEM Founder Professor Ian Brighthope in 2021.  

She also spends time each month working in an Aboriginal Health Service in Port Hedland.

Dr. Linda Muntz

Dr Muntz completed her medical degree at the University of Western Australia in 1991 and then worked at Fremantle Hospital, Royal Darwin Hospital and King Edward Memorial Hospital before commencing in General Practice.  Her training in General Practice took her to Boddington, Narrogin, Dwellingup, the UK and back to Fremantle. Dr Muntz was a GP Obstetrician but having her own children kept her too busy and she retired from delivering babies.

Dr Muntz loves Fremantle and the diverse population that we see at Ellen Health. Other interests include trying to keep fit – running/kayaking/adventure event. Much of her time is spent running around after her four great children, wonderful husband, other family members and silly Labrador.

Dr. Courtney Taylor

Dr Courtney Taylor is your classic local doctor. Born and raised country WA he studied at both the University of Western Australia and the University of Notre Dame Fremantle and remains a Fremantle local. Dr Taylor works at The Skin Cancer Practice on Monday’s, Thursday’s and Friday’s and Ellen Health on Wednesdays

His initial training in surgical fields prior to moving into General Practice, has given Courtney enhanced skills and interest in skin cancer removals, injury management, trauma and wound healing.

Having degrees in Population health and also Sport, Exercise and Health prior to medicine Courtney strives to provide preventative and holistic care to each patient.

Dr. Elizabeth Jaskolski

Dr Jaskolski says “I absolutely love being a GP, and I take pride in developing strong relationships with my patients and their families and taking a holistic approach to health care. I have special interests in child health, antenatal care up to 20 weeks, contraception including long acting contraceptive implants. I am also interested in preventative health and nutrition, chronic health care especially diabetes management and indigenous health”

Past Experience

Dr Jaskolski graduated from Notre Dame University in 2008 after completing an undergraduate biomedical science degree at UWA.

She completed the majority of her hospital years covering a wide variety of specialities at Sir Charles Gairdner hospital.  These included ICU, CCU, Emergency, surgical and medical terms as well as a community palliative care with Silver Chain.  Dr. Jaskolski then worked at Princess Margaret hospital and this is where she discovered a love for paediatrics.  She has also worked extensively in the country including a paediatric rotation in Alice springs, a GP year in Roebourne at the Mawarnkarra aboriginal health service (receiving the community medicine award in 2011) as well as some time in the Torres Strait on Thursday island.

Dr. Nathalie Departe

Joined Ellen Health in July 2014. Previously she worked as a GP in Geraldton, Fremantle GP after hours service and Coolbellup Medical Centre. Dr Departe enjoys the variety and scope of general practice, and the opportunity to get to know and care for all family members.  She practises holistic, evidence based medicine and loves being part of the Ellen health team.  Dr Departe lives in Fremantle with her husband.  She enjoys keeping fit by walking, skiing (all to rarely), cycling, doing (very short!) triathlons and running after her small (but fast) son.

As an accredited practicing dietitian (APD) with a masters in nutrition and Dietetics (Edith Cowan University), I am passionate about creating positive change and making a difference to the lives of people in the community.  My nutrition knowledge and specialised skill set involves identifying nutrition deficits and developing individualised nutrition interventions to improve health outcomes or achieve specific health-related goals.

Jille Burns

In 2011 Ellen Health were delighted to be one of the first practices in WA to welcome an independent nurse practitioner with Medicare rebates and expertise in nutritional and environmental medicine.

Jille is a Registered Nurse completing her initial training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, and then a Bachelor of Applied Science and Post Graduate Diploma in Health Science at Curtin University. Jille is also a Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) and holds further qualifications in nutritional and environmental medicine.

Jille received Fellowship of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine in 2018 and Fellowship of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine in 2020.

As a Nurse Practitioner the approach is collaborative and holistic with an emphasis on lifestyle medicine.

Nutritional and Environmental Medicine is about understanding how your body works best by identifying nutritional and lifestyle hurdles and developing a strategy to bridge nutritional gaps and improve general wellbeing.

As part of this service, Jille can advise on hormone health including thyroid and menopause, dementia prevention, cardiovascular risk factor management such as high cholesterol, and high blood pressure, weight management including metabolic syndrome, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), diabetes, allergies, asthma, reoccurring infection, auto immune and many other similar conditions.

Training and Motivational Speaking

Jille runs training courses and seminars for health practitioners including Doctors, Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses and other health professionals interested in learning more about and applying nutritional medicine in daily clinical practice. Jille is also available to speak to community groups, organisations or businesses about the basis of nutritional medicine and its application in daily life.
